Fund Raiser Participants
In Association with the
Taste in Fenton
We would like to thank
you to all the participants and sponsors of the 2nd Annual Fenton Firefighters Charities 5K and
10K Run/Walk held in the City of Fenton,
Michigan, benefitting the charitable work of the Fenton Firefighters
Charities who support various needs in the community. The course takes
place within the
beautiful
city limits of Fenton with
slight rolling terrain, historic homes and tree lined streets. Register

The event
was held:
"Run Through The Flames"
5k-10k (Run/Walk)
Participants have an opportunity to run or walk in the 5K or
10K and have the traditional fun and
excitement of trying to win a sporting event. Participating in the event
was the most important thing.
When the Fenton Firefighters Charities was
established, we felt that it was important to make a positive impact on
community. The rest is history! Since 2007, we have been raising several thousand of dollars to help people in
our local communities. The great ideas, great fun and generosity of
everyone involved has made this event one of the best loved
charity walks and runs in our area.
We have raised money
to form our own 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation in order to help others in
more ways to include such things as the Fire Firefighters Cancer
Foundation. We continued our goals of fund raising, which helped raise
money for several families, food at Thanksgiving, toys for kids at
Christmas and so on and so we have established a good giving program now.
The participation of many friends coupled with a great walk
and run in Fenton,
fine hospitality and entertainment of the Taste in Fenton after the
event was a great top off, all while being at an exceptional
location, made this another sensational experience. Thank you everyone
for your participation.
